After more then a month of trying to figure out why the ads were not coming on one of our sites. We finally found out. We had done, everything from updating the robots.txt file to google adsense requirements and everything but with little progress. Then we finally found it, if your site is in NON-english language and the adsense bot sees this, they try to load ads in that language. Try to remove or try to only show the other language for human visitors of the site. The adsense bot should only see english. If it sees allot of other language characters, it tries to load ads in that language, and if it can’t it shows charity ads or any other option you have selected to show if no ads are present. I hope that helps, cause it did the job for us.
