- Install a caching plugin. What this does is create static files which are used to display content for users. It speeds up the site because wordpress does not need to go to the database to retrieve the content.
- Optimize your images so they are not too big and properly sized.
- Remove unnecessary plugins from wordpress. Allot of plugins slow down the wordpress allot so keep it limited.
- Do optimization of wordpress database. This will clear up the structure and speed up the site as well.
